We are back in Summerland for the final stage of the event. You will start off with a rollout on the Kettle Valley Rail to get the legs moving. After 5.5km, riders will come off the KVR and hit a short paved climb and head onto the old Princeton Summerland highway. This old highways is a classic rolling gravel road with views looking down on the KVR. Once the riders hit where the old highway and KVR intersect they will jump back on the KVR for a few KM until they hit the climb. This climb is a few KM of the last descent from the first Summerland stage but will feel like a whole new world in reverse. Once you hit the top of the 1st big climb you will be near the aid station. After the aid station you have a few KM before its mostly all downhill to the finish line, passing a lake and some epic views of the mountains south of the KVR.
With a mix of the KVR, rugged FRS’s and old gravel highways, this will for sure be an awesome mix of everywhere a gravel bike can go to cap off a big week of racing.
