52.5KM - 1362M Elevation

Starting at Manitou, the idyllic Okanagan beach surrounded by clay banks, orchards, vineyards and wineries, the finale of BCBR Gravel Explorer 2022 will take riders from lakeside bliss to gravel grinding bliss and back again in a single stage. The last day of doing everything a gravel bike will do presents riders with 52.5 km of racing and nearly 1362 m of climbing. Leaving the beach and rolling through the quaint village of Naramata, racers will begin their climb through orchard roads past apples almost ready for picking in the gulch farms. Re-Visiting some of the Kettle Valley Railway from Stage 1, only this time in the opposite direction, racers are treated with isolated gravel kilometers in a tunnel of autumn colour. Rough road climbs in the up-country Naramata Forest Service roads provides your legs with a final smashing to end the week. Near the end of your journey you are waved off the gravel onto a singletrack and into the creek canyon crossing requiring some off-bike adventuring.  We finish the day rolling back through the orchards to our finish location back at Manitou Beach with photo ops and views for days from the Beer Garden!
